Things I love about summertime

As my summer is somewhat rapidly drawing to a close, I thought I'd make a list of things I love and miss when it is below freezing outside.

• Andrew (even though he's a year-round fixture)
• Shaved ice
• Watermelon
• Wearing dresses/skirts almost every day
• Bike rides
• BBQs
• No snow or ice
• Popsicles
• It stays light late and gets light early
• Going on walks
• S’mores
• Outdoor concerts
• Sandals
• Taking school off
• Swimming
• Summer rainstorms

Yes, I do realize that about half the things on my list have to do with food. And no, I'm not that embarrassed about it.
