Okay, so I just made this skirt using a tutorial from this lovely blog. It only took about an hour, and I plan to make 50 more this summer. The top of the skirt is elastic, I'm just wearing a grey flower belt from Anthropologie over it. Also, I think this is probably only the 2nd or 3rd picture of me that has ever made an appearance in the 130-ish posts on this blog. So enjoy.Summertime fills me with hope. My plans so far:
1. Ride my bicycle everywhere.
2. Go on a lot of picnics.
3. Make tons and tons of homemade ice cream in the Kitchen Aid ice cream making bowl that I keep begging Andrew to let me get.
4. Perhaps take up blogging again...i.e. post more than once or twice a month.

i've definitely had my eye on that ice cream maker bowl as well! the best thing about kitchen aid mixers is all the fun things that go with them. i want them all
